MOVIE RANT: DEADPOOL for Valentine's Day? YES PLEASE!!! OH AND WHAT'S WITH THE PETITIONS?!?!

Petitions for both DEADPOOL & STAR WARS?!?!?! ALSO, MY WIFE IS AMAZING, she can't wait to see it.....yes you read that correctly...
Ok....so I love comics. I also really like Ryan Reynolds. So right now some of you may be questioning my taste and ability to pass judgement........
Well I bid you adieu...
For those still with me......I LOVE COMICS..... I don't read them as much anymore but when my kids get older I hope that changes. (A nerd can only dream his children grow up just as nerdy...)
I love ALL of the Comic Book movies and the onslaught of movies that have been happening now for a decade. For someone who has ALWAYS loved the stories in comics and saw the potential for GREAT story telling, this time period has been a dream come true. For the most part everything released so far has been PG to PG-13ish....
Exceptions with some stories considered "Dark Novels" likeWatchmen, 300 (Both Zack Snyder....HELLO MAN OF STEEL & BATMAN V SUPERMAN!!!!) & Sin City. All R Rated for obvious reasons.
So I'm writing about this because I saw online the other day that there were a couple petitions floating around regarding movies.
ONE OF WHICH WAS FROM PARENTS REQUESTING AN EDITED VERSION OF DEADPOOL so it could be rated DOWN TO A PG-13 level......

Probably the same parents who want everyone to participate and no one ever to get hurt......feedback instead of grades.........
VIDEO GAMES CAUSE VIOLENCE.....THAT RAP SONG MADE MY KIDS SMOKE WEED/HAVE SEX/STEAL SHIT......WHATEVER!!!!
WAKE THE FUCK UP PEOPLE!!!!! Your kids do this shit because YOU can't get YOUR shit together....I HAVE LITERALLY PLAYED VIDEO GAMES MY WHOLE LIFE.....I have for as long as I remembered, loved shooting games that are bloody and the whole works....Halo, Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto....the list goes on.....
I don't immediately leave my house and go rob someone of their vehicle and take baseball bats to people in front of convenience stores....
WHY? BECAUSE A: I'm not an idiot B: I've been taught right and wrong.....
Did I mention I'm not an idiot/douche-bag/fuck tard?....
Here's the reality......SOME THINGS YOUR CHILDREN JUST SHOULDN'T WATCH UNTIL THEY'RE OLDER. I couldn't watch the Original Robocop until I was about 12-13 years old and the FIRST time I watched it (which I still remember was my first R Rated movie), my parents sat in the room with me. They talked me through a few things and also asked me if I was ok or if I had any questions at the end....
I didn't, it was fucking awesome. Bad people got what was coming to them!!!
SO NO....NO PETITION....DEADPOOL DEFINES R RATED......have any of these parents even LOOKED AT ONE OF THE COMIC BOOKS?!?!?! NEVER MIND READ IT....JUST OPEN THE DAMN THING.....NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!
So after reading about this I finally calmed down only to come across petition (serious one at that, I originally thought it was a joke...) for George Lucas to be brought back to direct Episode IX......
LOOK....I don't want to sound ungrateful or lacking respect for the guy....HE IS THE CREATOR OF ONE OF THE GREATEST STORIES AND NOW CLEARLY, MOVIE FRANCHISES TO EVER EXIST.......
With that said, his ONLY body of work with this franchise are the following movies.....
EPISODE IV- A NEW HOPE (THE ORIGINAL)
EPISODE I-THE PHANTOM MENACE
EPISODE II-THE ATTACK OF THE CLONES
EPISODE III-REVENGE OF THE SITH
ALL GEORGE LUCAS BOTH DIRECTING & WRITING....one other writing credit to Jonathan Hales for Episode II....ALL OTHER 100% LUCAS....
The movies that EVERYONE RAVES ABOUT, the credits are as follows:
EPISODE V: EMPIRE STRIKES BACK: Directed by Irvin Kershner; Writing Credits-Leigh Brackett & Lawrence Kasdan........STORY BY GEORGE LUCAS
EPISODE VI: RETURN OF THE JEDI: Directed by Richard Marquand; Writing Credits-Lawrence Kasdan and GEORGE LUCAS, Story GEORGE LUCAS
EPISODE VII: THE FORCE AWAKENS: Directed by JJ Abrams; Writing Credits-LAWRENCE KASDAN, JJ ABRAMS & MICHAEL ARNDT; THIS TIME GEORGE GETS THE FOLLOWING CREDIT (Based on characters created by)..........
So the best ranking Star Wars Stories in no particular order have generally been: Episodes IV, V, VI and now VII
Worst: Episodes I, II, III......
And I could make an argument that the Original, Episode IV A NEW HOPE (although ground breaking for its time) is the weakest of the original 3......
So for arguments sake...that means the WORST of the 7......are the FOUR created by LUCAS that he COMPLETELY HELMED........
The best all HAVE LAWRENCE KASDAN AS A WRITER.......
BUT YA.....LET'S FOCUS ON PETITIONING TO GET HIM BACK TO FINISH OFF THE NEW TRILOGY..........
I can appreciate what he's given us but others have completely run with it and given us some of the best movies of our generation.....Let's continue down that path for the LOVE OF THE FORCE.......
